Mishka Palacios De Caro
Mishka is a ludologist, game philosophy scholar, advocate, and educator with a passion for making game design and production accessible to all learners. Mishka’s pedagogy is rooted in social and communal learning and digital literacy, and for more than 10 years has been the driving force in their work to support learners that have been left behind by the system.
They were a General Producer for Video Game Music Orchestra Corear and is currently working as Curriculum Design Lead for Endless Studios and Content Director of the Demeter Program of Video Game Development in Prisons.
My Story
Born in 1985, they embarked on an educational journey within the realm of writing, enrolling in several workshops facilitated by prominent figures in the fields of poetry and narrative. Their academic pursuits also encompassed formal training as a Ludotecarian, coupled with an in-depth exploration of ludic philosophy. Over the span of a decade, they have been actively engaged as a Game Designer, Producer, and educator within these aforementioned disciplines.

They assumed the role of coordinator for the Argentine playtesting group of the Legend of the Five Rings for AEG, an endeavor that underscored their commitment to gaming excellence. Additionally, they assumed comprehensive oversight of the production efforts for the Video Game Music Orchestra in Symphonic Corear from 2017 to 2019. Alongside Javier España, they co-founded the specialized journalism platform centered around video games and a subculture known as "Coliseo," in which they assumed varied responsibilities from 2011 to 2018. They are also a co-producer of the "Videojuegos en Serie" series.

Presently, they are actively involved in the operations of Fundav's production while concurrently holding the esteemed position of President within the organization. Their professional scope extends to pedagogical engagements in both private and public universities, alongside content coordination for the penitentiary-based video game development program.
